Julia Williams Dade is the Library Director, and past-president of the Board of Directors. She has been diligently working on this project for the past four years. Mrs. Dade holds a BS Degree from Oklahoma State University in News & Public Affairs, and a MS Degree from Amberton University in Human Resource Training & Development. She has over 30 years of experience in both public and private schools, most recently as Registrar and Assistant to the Head of Upper School at St. Mark’s School of Texas in Dallas. Her teaching skills can be observed as she works with the Junior Library Board, which is the major component of a leadership development model developed for the Library. She and her husband of 40 years reared five children, and now have eight grandchildren to call their own. Her main objective is to help engage the youth in the community, which will positively impact their lives for generations to come.
Danielle Hullum is a multi-business owner mom of 2 with a lot of experience in fundraisers and market events. She regularly plans monthly market events in the local area and is also a frequent vendor at local events so she knows how both sides work. Brandi Lacey is a Photographer and Homeschooling mom of 3. “I love to volunteer, organize anything and everything, design and create things. I love photographing children, events and work for an amazing organization, The Refuge, as an event photographer, whose goal is to help house and heal victims of sex trafficking. I teach Literature Unit Studies to high school students at a local co-op, run a book club, and stay very busy.”
Sarah Greenwood has a background as the Director of PR and Marketing for the Fire Museum of Maryland, as well as a Membership Coordinator. She also used to work for Baltimore Reads, Inc. where they helped adults obtain their GED, “I did all their mass donation requests and tracking. I am also a classically trained oil painter. I love anything creative. I’m also a major dog lover, I have two chihuahuas named Audrey Hepburn and Joe Pesci who basically run my husbands and my household.”
Marissa Russo is a native Texan, and currently lives in Central Texas with her husband and two bunnies. She is a real estate agent with Sphere Realty and has been in the business for over 7 years. Marissa has Bachelor’s Degree in English and Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. While attending UMHB, Marissa was President of Pi Gamma Mu, President of Psi Chi, the Induction Coordinator of Gamma Beta, and a member of Sigma Tau Delta. During her teenage years, she was on the Youth Advisory Board for Killeen, and was even a nominee for Volunteer of the Year by the city. Marissa enjoys board games, movies, desserts, and going to concerts.
